Interesting experience last week Thursday got to photograph RJD2 and Applied pressure at the Belmont. This was my 3rd time to see him. Great show people were really digging the Applied Pressure opening. Boom Baptist, Kidd Slyce and Hobo D were ridiculous, their visuals are always top of the line unfortunately no visual mapping which is always cool to look at and Applied pressure usually does. I some how ended up with a +14 and a $50.00 drink tab. It was my birthday week so things were a little crazy. Heres my favorite photos and you can see all of them on Collective Perspectives Facebook.

Clicks & Whistles. Applied Pressure 7.18.2012 Barcelona Collective Perspectives, Jonathan Garza Photography
Despite the fact they’re new on the scene, Clicks & Whistles are already showing that they’re one of the most intriguing and exciting production duos in the US. Starting out as a long distance collaborative production project between Petey Evans,24, and Jorge Hernandez ,27, they’ve both taken up residence in Charlotte, NC to focus on crafting their defining sound and spreading it to eager fans across the globe. That unique sound is comprised of many genres, including but not limited to: Southern rap and hip hop, dubstep, UK garage and funky, and everything in between.
The Clicks & Whistles sound has been perking the ears of some of the US’s highly regarded electronic producers and labels as well. Starting with their Radiator/Cranberry Goose EP on Atlanta’s Embassy Recordings, 2011 and 2012 will see forthcoming releases on Tittsworth and Ayres T&A Records and Kingdom’s Fade to Mind imprint. There will certainly be plenty more on the horizon for this talented young duo, as they continue to expose the world to the unique sound of Clicks & Whistles.

Prince Paul, Brownout, and DJ Chicken George at Beauty Ballroom
Tomorrow night Thursday maybe the best night to go out other than Monday, Paul Huston, (born April 2, 1967[1]) better known by the stage name Prince Paul is performing at Beauty Ballroom (one of my favorite venues). Prince Paul is an American disc jockey and hip-hop record producer.[2] He was also a founding member of the Gravediggaz where he used the name The Undertaker.
Brownout is a Hardcore Latin Funk group from Austin, TX. New album out April 24th on NAT GEO MUSIC. They just finished playing with GZA at Bonaroo so we should be in for a tasty treat. Find the event on FACEBOOK right here.

THIS HAS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. Fire Fest will be very interesting a one day festival with a range of live music and by live as far as I know not a single DJ. Some produceresque people but with bands behind them. So if you are looking for a change from the dance hall DJ producers this is it, as well as having 20,000 water balloons ready to keep you cool and a fireworks popping area, this festival has done everything it can to anticipate your fun having needs. It is very close to town and affordable so make sure to check out the full line up and order your tickets online to save $10.00. FIRE FEST INFO AND TIX
